Michael Opdenacker
Bootlin Embedded Linux Engineer
Orange, France
Michael Opdenacker is the founder of Bootlin, an engineering company specialized in embedded Linux, which appears regularly in the top 20 companies contributing to the Linux kernel. Michael has also contributed to the LWD project (Linux World Domination) by training hundreds of engineers around the world on embedded Linux and its kernel, and by sharing all training and presentation materials from Bootlin under a free documentation license. Michael has already conducted filesystem benchmarks on embedded Linux platforms and shared his results at the embedded Linux conference, but it was a long time ago (2010). It's time for an update as new filesystems have appeared since then (f2fs, erofs), new compression algorithms too (zstd), and of course substantial filesystem code changes must have happened too.
